Hello, and welcome to our website! We have created this website to allow greater access to information about the Como Police Department and direct access to me. We also have access to other local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, if the need should arise.

As a law enforcement agency, the Como Police Department is responsible to enforce all Federal, State, and local laws, as well as abide by the Constitution of the United States and the State of Texas.  However, our duties and responsibilities go far beyond just enforcing laws and ordinances. This department feels that to truly be effective in providing a sense of security, safety and a quality of life that everyone in Como can be proud of, we must go far beyond traditional law enforcement duties. We do this by responding to ANY calls for police services. Even if we do not have the expertise or resources to solve a problem, we can usually find the needed expertise or resources, especially if it is after normal business hours. After all, we are a branch of municipal government, not just a law enforcement agency.

We are always pleased to have citizen input into the operation of this department, and our website, is no exception. We would appreciate any suggestions you may have in making it better.
